Party Expos are a great way to meet venders and get deals on your upcoming party or event.  We had a booth set up this past weekend at Temple Ner Tamid and felt it was a great networking opportunity and way to give people information about our video production services.  As always there were DJ’s and Photographers, and my favorite booths were the Balloon vendors.  They put a lot of effort into displaying there balloons and gave them away to kids at the end of the day.  One of the more popular services offered for parties and events at the expo were the Photo Booths.  I have seen Photo Booths at many recent events and they are always a hit! www.photofunbox.com is a friendly local company with competitive prices and because they are local it makes it a more personable experience than dealing with a place that outsources.  This is the second year I have been contacted by Phil Cohen, of Cohen Productions, to sign up for a booth at the expo and both years have been great experiences.

Tanner Video Productions filmed another great Bat Mitzvah Party at The Kernwood Country Club in Salem, MA this past weekend. The Kernwood is a very solid place to have a Bat Mitzvah Party or Wedding because they have great food, scenery, and other services at competitive prices. Once again Party Excitement was there with MC Brad Brodie who brought a lot of energy from the start of the party. I taped over three hours of footage so it was a non-stop party! Tanner video productions filmed a Bat Mitzvah Party at Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead, MA on March 14, 2009. Temples usually don’t allow videographers to film the service so we only filmed the party which was held in Temple Emanu-El function room. Adam Averback from Party Excitement MC’d another great party and the night was definitely a success!

Tanner Video Productions and Events filmed a great Bar Mitzvah party this past weekend at the Newton Marriott during the day. Afternoon Bar Mitzvah parties usually are not as exciting as ones held at night but DJ Phil Cohen from Cohen Productions proved  it didn’t matter what the clock said because as far as he was concerned, it was party time! This made for some great footage for the Bar Mitzvah Video.

I wanted to give thanks and recognition to Adam Averback, from Party Excitement, for lending his voice over talent on The Hurricane webmercial. I have filmed many events where Adam is the headlining emcee and just recently at a Bar Mitzvah party it occurred to me that he would be great for voice overs. With no rehearsals it took about ten minutes to record it at Party Excitement’s headquarters in Peabody, MA. I took the voice recording to the editing lab in Boston and inserted it in the video footage previously edited for the script and it came out perfect!! I hope to work with Adam in the future on more webmercials and promotions for small/local businesses and I highly recommend him for parties, weddings, and other functions.
